THIS IS AN EXAMPLE LISTING - THIS BIKE IS NOT FOR SALE

Mountain Bike builds do not come more personalised or focused than this Santa Cruz Bronson V2.  Built in 2016 around a medium CC frame this bike combines the best of Californian carbon loveliness with the engineering know-how of Barnoldswick, UK.

When the Bronson V2 was launched in 2016 MBR magazine said it was ‘quite possibly the best trail bike we’ve ever tested’.  Launched at the time in the hands of Josh ‘RatBoy’ Bryceland, in the infamous Madeira Dreamin’ promo (Madeira Dreamin' YouTube) and running the ‘Pink’ colourway the bike became instantly famous and the do it all trail bike everyone wanted.

This bike has been built up in the more subtle matt black/grey colourway and has the original invisi-frame protection that was applied from new.  The frame is the CC version, meaning it uses a higher grade of carbon than the C version and results in the same strength and stiffness but with a lighter weight.  This frame is a medium and the table within the photos details the dimensions and geometry.  This frame will suit riders from 5’6” through to 5’10 depending on how you like your bike to feel.

Other points to note on this V2 design are the upgraded 3rd generation Virtual Pivot Point (VPP) frame design that runs throughout the Santa Cruz range, the threaded bottom bracket (much easier for DIY mechanics), internal cable routing, and the easy to reach bottle fixing points in the main triangle.  The frame also has fixings for the ISCG-05 chain guide if you wish and the ability to mount a front derailleur.  The frame is dropper post compatible with internal routing and this bike is fitted with the RockShox Reverb dropper post.

This bike comes with a FOX X EVOL shock which is designed to work specifically with the VPP suspension and gives the Bronson 150mm of plush and progressive travel.  Up front is a RockShox Pike RCT3 Solo Air fork providing 150mm of travel up front.  The fork has been colour coded to match the rest of the red on the bike.

When it comes to components and the build is pure Hope Technology, making use of their beautifully crafted and reliable Brakes, Hubs, Rims, Cranks, Bottom Bracket, Headset, Stem, and the finishing touch,  a matching Hope seat post clamp.  All are in anodised red which really sets the whole bike off and contrasts and pops against the dark frame.  The brakes are the super adjustable Tech3 levers paired with the E4 dual piston callipers, connected by silver braided hoses.  The discs are 203mm floating front and rear, with lots of life left in them.

The drivetrain is the ever-reliable Shimano XT and this build runs 1 x 10 set up with a XXT front chain ring (Hope) and a XX-XXT cassette at the rear.  To finish the bike off there are a set of RaceFace aluminium bars (750mm), a pair of RaceFace grips (in red naturally), Maxxis High Roller II EXO (2.3”), a 50to1 mudguard, and a SGD Allure Ti-Alloy women’s saddle.

Overall, this bike wants for nothing.  It has been maintained meticulously and literally has had only one careful lady owner!  This bike represents the best of the latest trend in Mountain Bike design and provides a capability that can be used on any trail, in any country, anywhere in the world.  This is an opportunity to own a seminal bike, so do not hesitate to bid.

Curated Cranks can verify we have seen the original bill of sale and are satisfied this is a genuine seller with a genuine reason for sale.  The bike is located in Warwickshire, UK.
